This is a sustainable insole made by reusing used tea leaves that would normally be discarded.
Catechin, a component of green tea, deodorizes unpleasant odors, and the antibacterial action of catechin suppresses the growth of bacteria.
Moderate elasticity absorbs shock when walking, reducing strain on hips and knees.
This insole with tea leaves is a product jointly developed by ITO EN Co., Ltd. and Nippon Chemifelt Co., Ltd.
Uses used tea leaves from approximately 2 green tea plastic bottles (600ml).
This technology allows used tea leaves, which contain large amounts of water, to be recycled without drying them, reducing fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
